Terms of service
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms apply to your use of Recompete Radar. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Business use
Recompete Radar is provided for business and professional procurement research. It is not designed as a consumer purchasing service.
What Recompete Radar provides
Recompete Radar analyses public procurement information to help identify contracts that may return to market. It provides search, scoring, buyer intelligence, saved searches, tracking and alerts depending on your plan.
Recompete Signals, confidence levels, rankings, expiry estimates and similar outputs are analytical indicators only. They are not guarantees that a buyer will run a procurement, renew a contract, change supplier, award work to you or follow any particular timetable.
Checking source information
You are responsible for checking original notices, procurement documents, buyer websites, deadlines, eligibility requirements and other source information before making a bid, investment or commercial decision. Public procurement records can be incomplete, amended, delayed, duplicated or withdrawn.
Accounts
You must provide an email address you control and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. You must not share paid account access outside the users or organisation permitted by your plan.
Free and paid plans
Features and limits vary by plan and are shown on the Pricing page. We may improve, replace or adjust features over time. If a material change affects an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and billed at the price and billing interval shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can manage or cancel an active subscription from the billing controls in your Account page. Cancellation normally stops future renewals and access to paid features continues until the end of the paid billing period, unless Stripe or Recompete Radar states otherwise.
Price changes
We may change prices for future purchases or renewal periods. Where reasonably required, existing subscribers will be given notice before a new price applies to a future renewal.
Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly agreed otherwise, subscription charges already paid are not automatically refundable simply because the service was not used. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@recompeteradar.co.uk.
Acceptable use
You may use Recompete Radar for legitimate procurement, sales and market research. You must not:
- attempt to disrupt, damage or overload the service;
- bypass authentication, subscription controls or usage limits;
- use automated access at abusive rates or in a way that materially harms the service;
- resell, sublicense or share paid account access without permission;
- use the service for unlawful activity; or
- misrepresent Recompete Radar's analytical outputs as official buyer decisions or guaranteed opportunities.
Public data and intellectual property
Underlying public procurement records remain subject to the rights and terms applicable to their original sources. Recompete Radar's software, presentation, scoring logic, branding, compiled analysis and original service content remain the property of the service operator or relevant licensors.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Recompete Radar available and useful, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, upstream data problems, supplier outages or security issues may occasionally affect availability. We may change the service where reasonably necessary to maintain, secure or improve it.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, respond to legal requirements or address a material breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the Account page.
Liability
Recompete Radar is an information and research tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on an opportunity score, prediction, public-source data error, missed procurement, buyer decision or third-party service outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
